I know where that came from. She's preparing for her next argument with me. I told her I was asleep even though my eyes were open in the hopes she would not pummel me as usual. Aislinn told her I could do that because I was a snake and they don't have eyelids. Which...isn't that nice now that I think about it.
I read that a kangaroo rat kicks dirt in a snake's eyes when it is trying to get away from it. Maybe that can help you develop a strategy for the next time Lauren comes at you...not that you resemble a kangaroo rat.
